 CEO/FOUNDER

Shaheen Ali-Chohan

My name is Shaheen, I have over 25 years experience teaching and supporting in the local community with a wide range of people from different backgrounds, including people that have mental health issues, learning difficulties and disabilities.

I have worked with adults, young people and families in the community in Kingston upon Thames. I have also worked with organisations such as Welcare, Staywell, Fircroft and Kingston adult education. I am qualified with PGCE in teaching adults.

In 2002 I became family learning/community learning manager for Kingston. This involved planning and training to   provide courses for family and community learning.I  then went to work for Richmond doing the same.

I  am now a freelance photographer as well as support teaching for Kingston adult education and still involved in charity work as well as volunteer work.

Though my experiences both work and personal I want to support our local community with their mental health and well being by founding/setting up this charity and  especially with the impact of covid-19.

Rachael- Sleep Yoga Meditation Tutor

Sleep Yoga is the most gentle form of mindfulness meditation. To practise it you don't need to do anything at all, just lie down and listen. It works with the parasympathetic nervous system to induce feelings of deep relaxation and rejuvenation.
